Building smaller injection molds (anything you can throw). Dieter Drechsler and Bernd Liebich in their own workshop - both Master toolmaker

1990:

Drechsler + Liebich Werkzeugbau GbR is founded, the first employees are hired

1992/1993:

First hall construction and move to Pirnaer Straße, the current location - Production of injection molds up to 1t

1994/1995:

Hiring additional employees

1996:

Start of a collaboration with engineering firm Goll - The first Die casting mold is built

1997:

Increased construction of die-casting molds, first deburring tools; more Employees are hired

1999:

Investment in new CNC turning and milling technology

2001:

Lutz Drechsler joins the company; Investment in the Machine park (milling, new sinking erosion, new flat grinding technology); Introduction of CAM system

For the first time, two apprenticeship positions will be offered and filled -
To this day, the company regularly trains tool mechanics mold technology

2004/2005:

Including the founders, the company has 12 employees - at the turn of the year there is also a generational change; The two founders sell the Company to Lutz Drechsler

2007:

Production is being expanded with a new hall and crane - new Milling technology and a new spotting press. Total weights of the molds up to 8t are now possible!

2010:

Our own 30kW photovoltaic system goes online - a large part of the electricity produced is used by the company itself

2012:

Construction of another production hall, purchase of 5X milling technology - Drechsler + Liebich Werkzeugbau has 15 employees

2022:

Moving into the finished hall; Investment into new milling and grinding technology
2020:

Construction of a new 2-level hall to expand capacities
2015:

Purchase of new CNC turning technology

2019:

Purchase of a new die-sinking EDM system, investment in welding and laser technology
